SADAA conserves, digitises, shares, and celebrates the work of first generation British South Asian artists, post-partition. We were originally set up to hold collections that would otherwise be lost, and we’re still collecting. This year, to celebrate our 25^thbirthday, we’ve commissioned nine original works from writers, artists, and friends of SADAA, opening windows onto their lives, influences, and practice.
